my female is the alpha hound of my pack she doestn't push it but don't take no pushing it seems its only with my hounds not when she is with strange hounds. she is also very good with young pups if i have a pup thats trying to establish his rank in the pack this female will straighten him up but will never hurt one she just pins them

My coonhunting friends, again the question is which dog do you think makes the best competition dog Alpha or non Alpha? Alpha will be the male/female that shows dominance in the hunt, they will be the leader, the twist is that leadership can occure with either Alpha or non alpha.
