One More Dog Food Question

anybody feed pride dog food.
im having a time getting good food around hear,cant get blackgold,switched to kennyO and like it but i got to drive to BFE to get it,now a guy close is going to be getting pride.

Pride is not a bad food but not the best either. I'd put it in the same class as the feed you have been feeding, maybe a notch below black gold.

i work at a states southern ... he carry the 24/20 sport states southern brand dog food ... i have gotta a lot of ppl on this since it come out last year .. i feed my dogs it and they love it .. if u got a ss store close 2 u .. try that the price is rite and the dogs like it ... JWRAY ...

You won't be able to beat Southern States "Complete Sport" (Green and white bag). I buy it in Amelia, but they also have it on Midlothian. It's $15 for 40 lbs. which is about $20 for 50 pounds. I used to feed Black Gold, but am glad I switched about a year ago. Its good stuff, I get good comments on my hound all the time. You do not have to feed much of this stuff at all.

Chris used to sell Black Gold....Is he not able to get it anymore? Southern States no longer sells it either. What is the price on KennyO

I pay $18 a bag for Kenny-O's and that the 26/18 50#s

This is about the Finest Feed at a very good Price !! And I like the Beet Pulp !! Very High in Fiber !!

i was gitten the b/g from chris then he couldnt get on a regular basis and they went up on price so i think he told em to stick it.
the kenny o blue bag 26-18 is 17.50 a bag and its a 50lbs bag and i tell ya its just as good as black gold.
another guy around here said try the souther states,i went over at lunch,i work right down the street from the midlo store and looked at it,i might try a bag or two

We've fed Pride dog food for many years. They have several types and you have to find what works for your dogs. In my opinion, the Performance feeds that they have are the best. They come in 21-17 (lime green bag) and a 27-20 (orange bag) blends and are chicken based. If you like the meat based feeds then the 24-20 (black bag) or the 26-18 (dark green bag) are the best choices. Any of them will keep our dogs slick and healthy. The performance feeds don't have as much corn in them so I like to feed them in the summer. They seem to keep the dogs a little cooler when hunting in the summer. In the winter, for the dogs that aren't getting hunted as much, I prefer to feed the meat based feeds with more corn in them.
