where is the best place to buy or download these from? thanks in advance

i am not sure but i think you can have trouble with maps from other sorces than garmin.there was a post on here one time talking about some kind of update problems with some maps.garmin sells a the chip with what ever area you are in,like midatlantic.i think it is about 80 dollars.i would ask a dealer i could be wrong
