I've heard of beating a dead horse, but enough is enough

Last night a situation occurred that I found particularly amusing, the cast is shining the tree and one of the cast members picks up a cow head to peck on the tree with. ( he said it really works great too, if you can't find a rock or stick) In the process of pecking on the tree his arm gets grabbed by a dog treeing, now my question is was the dog showing aggression toward the handler, or molesting livestock? I about had tears in my eyes hearing about that one, lmao.

what would be the difference in that and a stick or shaking vine

I think you could say only a 100 times and they only see what they want too.

If you can't pull a vine to score a coon, we all need to quit now down here where I live. That ain't fair to the hounds. Treed alot of acorn coons this year that would not look until you pulled a vine or tapped on the tree.

I am thinking that coon had to be pretty tough not to fall out of the tree laughing at all that was going on on the ground. Just thinking about it makes me laugh.
Man beating on tree with dead cow, dog stuck in tree scared of man with dead cow, dog bites man. Couldn't had been a coon in that tree or he would had atleasted had to look. lol
Good man for not blameing that dog for biteing. lol

It has come up in the past and has shown to be more political than anything else. Even the Coonhound Advisor has said it wasn't ok and then turned around and said it was. Mainly depends on your cast members and your MOH or HD.

So can someone be scratched for using a non mechanical squaller?

Thank you for pointing that out David, we all about had tears in our eyes hearing it at the club,I figured it was too priceless not to share with everyone else, lol. As far as taking the bull by the horns, I don't know if I can. I didn't ask Jim if it had horns or not, it may have been polled. Now thats humor folks .
