IT APPEARS..........

$3 IS THE GOING RATE IN CENTRAL INDIANA. UNLESS MY YOUNG DOG TREES IT, I AM GONNA START LEAVING SOME AT THAT PRICE !!!!! THINK ABOUT IT............. IT WOULD BE A GOOD INVESTMENT FOR THE PEOPLE WHO HUNT YEAR ROUND.

Are you Indiana boys already selling hides? My buddy is the manager of a fur buying company here and S.D. and November first is the very earliest that they start buying coon. The vast majority of thoae coon are stilm a little blue or slatey. The most prime coon come from between christmas and the end of January around here. Depending on the year they can go almost till march before the start rubbing.

Did you stretch'em or leave 'em green?

While I see this is from '09, I tell everyone who asks me that they aren't going to get more than a dollar for a giant coon. I don't want some jackwagon shooting the woods up thinking he's going to get rich lol. Kill season will come in, the people chasing dollar signs will make it the first two weeks, go to sell the 25 coons they killed in 2 weeks and walk away with less than 100 in their pocket and won't see them until the next start of the next kill season. Happens every year.
