light problem!! need help!

have any of you have a light that wont charge. its not getting a conection.
i have blazer 21 that i have had nothing but problems with in. the last two years i have had three switches go out and now it won't charge. when i plug it into the smart charger the light on the charger will not come on(first indication it wasnt gettting a connecting) and if i turn the switch the light still comes on(which if it had a connection to the charger it shouldn't).
i need this light for this week. is there anything you can think of that it might be. im hoping it can be a easy fix i can do but i know nothing about these things accept how to turn them on.

Know and electricain, they will have a meter you can check a few things out.

i am not familiar with the blazer set up, but some have a wire that hooks up to the charger, and somewhere that wire is in contact with the hot wire to the switch, that is why the light comes on with the charger pluged in.

Check the battery output with a meter. batteries are easy to replace, but expensive. also check the input to the battery from the charger.

I know my friends light wasn't charging, he realized it wasn't the charger when he tried his other light on it, ended up a wire had come off the battery or something like that, might wanna check that out.

the lights 3 years old so i think the warranty it up but i could be wrong.
