That sounds about right that our president would ask them to issue a 42 cent stamp when stamps are 44 cents. Maybe they will issue a 2 cent noose along with it. LOL

According to snopes, this stamp was first issued in 2001, so it would be pretty hard to blame it on Obama!! Worth reading the details about it.

Put em on! They'll still have to put a couple of 1 cent or a two cent flag stamp on. That's only a .42 cent stamp. I doubt they are even in circulation anymore except for those philanthetics.

Not meaning to sound rude I cant pronounce half of what you just wrote let alone make any sents of it nor do I care I live in AMERICA I celibrate CHRISTMAS (the BIRTH of CHRIST ) and in the Spring Ill celibrate EASTER (the Death and REASURECTION of CHRIST ) I fly the AMERICAN FLAG on one pole and the REBEL on another ...GOD BLESS THE U.S.A.

And Cynthia did you know that muslim's get more for killing during ramadan (the holy month) just thought i'd let you know i've lost some good friends over there and i''ll go back as many times as i have to. if you would have bothered to search, you would have found what I did, that this was issued in 2001 and again in 2007. I am NOT condoning any of what has happened and I did NOT vote for Obama for some of the same reasons as others.

I was just giving background info on this stamp as it was issued prior to the current mess we're in. Don't jump on me for trying to give more info.

I wasnt trying to say anything bad about you I knew what you were trying to do. I was trying to say I dont care what there Da@@ holiday means and I couldnt pronounce or understand half of the hoopla you wrote on your post I guess thats because IM AMERICAN!!!!!

I just had a long conversation yesterday with one of my students about the hatred directed at Muslims. My student was an infant at the time of the bombing and she has lived in our small, redneck community nearly all her life. She is open and knows more about Christianity than most "Christians" that I know. Despite that, she was recently called a "terriorist" by someone while she was shopping in a local store.

Our country was founded on religious FREEDOM, but she is subjected to blind hatred because her people she has never met or associated with hate Americans.

More American are killed by other god-fearing Americans everyday than are killed by terriorists.

They don't like the American way or a democratic society. They are fundemantal ideologists that believe their way is the only way. Americans kill Americans one at a time. Most of those Americans are the scourge of the earth, low lifes that kill for drug turf or insanity. Muslims kill people in our type of society by the tens, hundreds and thousands. They don't like me and they don't like you. You might wonder where I get my information.....I was trained by the American military and was part of an anti-terrorism program. What's it going to take? Someone close to you losing their life in a terrorist act or a military person that you know serving their country trying to keep these "Ideologists" out of our backyard losing their life?

No Randy...I am not an idealist. I just realize that religion, all religion, has been used as an excuse for hatred and war and killing since its existance. Christians, Jews, Muslims have been killing each other since the beginning of recorded history.

It will continue happening long after I have died. I just choose not be be part of the circle.

Truth is, I perfer dogs to humans of any religion or race! LOL!
