Coon are moving here

We made 7 trees this weekend so far...They all had coon. I'm hunting one young dog by herself. Pretty sure she will be ready to win this spring.

The hunting is good here. One den tree and six trees with coons. Doesn't get much better here.

3 on the outside

Last night, my MOJO pup treed 3 on the outside and a den tree in a little over an hour. He was on the ground with a good B&T Grandnite female. She had a seperate den tree. He look real good. A good short night.

If a pup is making nothing but den trees this time of year, that pup needs to turn around and trail in the opposit direction.

Posted by deeandmike on 11-15-2009 04:12 PM:

not good here in ohio

We have been having trouble too. Have a young B&T, been turning her loose by herself and boy the other nite she took off Deep! She had it but had to work darn hard to get it. Doesn't seem like anything is moving here. Had a pound hunt and several came back with nothing at all saying the same thing. We took 2nd with 2 coon so we were glad that it wasn't just her. Even feeders right now aren't being touched. Way to warm for NOV!

Have not tree'd anything the nights we've gone out in the last 2 weeks. Made two drops last night with only a slick tail to show. None killed on the road either. From here'say everyone has been having a hard time finding them. I hope it gets better.

coons

we had problem's getting after them also in wva . seems like their not stirring until late i guess . we hunted 3 night's this week and treed only in one den tree and we pack some pretty nice hounds . we even turned loose on some buckets and coons werent hitting them at all . we have no mass up here and i think that might be the reason we airnt getting after them i think their staying denned up much as possiable .

POLLARD

Dave, been having the same kind of trouble. Can't even get a bark. Went hunting with Jim Moritz last nite over by Reeseville and he has been having the same problems all week. Same thing last nite. I was telling him about something you were talking about last year that had to do with barometric pressure I think you called it. Explain that will ya. Me and Jim aren't as educated as you but you know we are always willing to learn. LMAO.......You know it's complicated when WALDO didn't even know what I was talking about. Thanks, Matt.

Here you can go down on the creeks that allways have super highways of tracks and you won't find but one or two if any. We have feed crops growing every were and that is new for here. We have water holes from rain and I noticed last night you can find tracks were there isn't a tree for 3/4 of a mile. I still find one most night but it sure isn't like it should be for this time of year. Neither is the weather. I had a mosquito after me last night. The bugs are comeing back. We need cold to get rid of those bugs and freeze those mud holes.
