Gunsmoke
Anyone hunting any pups out of him?
Anyone hunt with him, how does he hunt?
Anyone have any pics to post?
yeah that'd be great, 918 797 5018 is my number. Anyone else?
i bred a female to gun. they are 4 months old. i kept a male . all the pups were very bold . they have tremendous mouths and look eal good. when i still had them here when i cut them out of the kennel at10 weeks they would hit the woods. and a couple times they got away and i had to go looken for them. they are almost 17 weeks now and have had two reports of pups being introduced to a coon andthey lost their minds and treed their guts out. i haven't fool with mine yet, but i can tell that he is ready for an ez short class..
...gun is a big hound. he is an athelete. he covers alot of ground in a hury. he opens here and yonder , more on a hot track, and alot of times i have just heard him come treed in there. his younger brother the red headed stranger is also a big dog , but opens more on track and is going to get struck quicker. both hounds have tremendous mouths on them. i would say they are the cream of the crop for the dogs off clint....you won't find a better fella than leon. don't call him wanting him to brag on his dog . he is not the best salesman. lol

Jay how are your pups doing. I know Scott Engle was the handler that help win some of that $20,000 + on him can anyone tell us more about Gunsmoke
He is awesome!!!!to say the least,,, I'm a bnt man but know a top hound when I see one. Gun was in my part of the country for a couple years and I drew him a few times in hunts and pleasure hunted with him a couplke times. Great big hound, great big mouth, all night hard treedog can tree any kind of track with ease and is all business!!no stoopid stuff with this guy. He is the closest thing to the ideal dog in my eyes that i've hunted with,,, if he were a bnt I would have a whole back yard full of little guns!!
Hunted with him one time, got deep in a hurry, we had to drive to get a little closer, had the meat, and an absolutely overpowering tree dog! You won`t find a better guy than Leon, but as Jay said, Leon would much rather show you, than tell you. Also, Gunsmoke is a big dog, and he looks
like a hound should.
Man nick why don't you go ahead and get some gun

I didn't know he had won $40,000 wow
Seen in the Prohound where a 09 Gunsmoke pup had $269 won and was 11th in the NC state race
Old Gun is an impressive dog by all measures. Leon is a first rate gentleman. Well worth your time to meet them both.
I think I may try and go see Gunsmoke go

I would say 6 months then if he is still breeding more female here then he was at Leon's who knows how long he will get to stay here. larry grooms I looked at the PIC at the bottom of your post looks like that dog has some Clint blood?
Tyler, he has no Clint blood in him he is Nelson's Radar x Nailor on top and Rock River Cord x Sackett Jr on bottom. I do have a double great granddaughter of Clint. I recently rasied a litter of pup off of her and Hardwood Bean. Here is pic of her and the pups. she is the redhead one.
Pup outta her and Bean.
