Astro 220 button question?

I have had my garmin for about 4 months and my in and out buttons are completly wore off to where you can tsee anything on them. Is anybody else havin this problem? I have seen many from guys that have had em since they came out and theres are perfect still! I have noticed when using other peoples that there buttons are alot different! For example a buddy of mine just got his last weekend and it is a SOB to push the power button to turn it on or off!
