Anyone from out of state coming?, This is double state race points.

Posted by Not The Killbuck-Club on 11-03-2009 07:37 PM:

Breakfast and Lunch will be served both days. There is a full set of trophies for each day and an over-all trophy for each of the three categories. Hope to have a great turnout, with some great dogs and some good runnin'. Come out for one or both days, weather should be good. Look forward to seeing everyone.

caution

I have a great concern regarding this trial, where will these casts be run? For those that are not aware , this is opening weekend of small game season in Ohio. The weekend warriors will be out in force, shooting at anything that moves. Hopefully the casts will be run on private lands , where their is little or know hunting.

Shouldn't be a problem, casts will be on private and state grounds. Don't know about you but, I don't usually drop in on other hunters. do you?. Also this isn't the only hunt that happens during ohio rabbit season. We also hunt durning bow, turkey, spring, and fall, duck, goose and squirrel, etc. don't see a problem. I'm not scared when I go out and run for fun during season.

Had a good day yesterday at the hunt, with my oldest grandson Logan. We will be going back again tommorow. Just wanted to let everyone know the Legend kept his promise and put it on me, true to his word. But he also learned a lesson dogs can jump rabbits in a cornfield. LOL
The best part of my day was on the way home, and my grandson, said grandpa, I really like these hunts and I'll go with you to these all the time. This was better then winning any big hunt.
