What Do You Feed
OK GUYS AND GALS WHAT DO YOU FEED THEM BIG GAME HOUNDS AND HUNT THEM EVERY DAY
WHAT DO U FEED
DOG CHOW
Purina Pro Plan when they are hunting.. I also like the Kirkland Brand dog food.. Hate the price.. At least you can join the Pro Club with Purina...
If I could get Ultra Advantage Dog food out here.. I would probably switch....

You've only got 3 choices in life, give in, give up, or give it all you got.
Kirkland from costco and chicken backs. Sometimes I can score the chicken for 15c a lb. I also use deer cuttings and raw bones when I can get my hands on it i'll fill my freezer.
natural choice 23/13 lamb in rice
Diamond Naturals Chicken & Rice or Extream Athlete.
I feed Science Diet as well on occasion.
I don't mind the Exceed from Sam's Club either (except the price)

we feed BLACKWOOD 2000 26/18
High-Standard makes a great feed for the hard going hound that you can feed less of and get more out of. The purple bag I think is 26-18 works great on the every night coonhound I guess it would work on the Big Game hound also. $ 17.00-$18.00 50 POUND

DIAMOND ADULT PERFORMANCE BEEN FEEDING IT FOR YEARS
The Kirkland is produced by diamond.
Food
During the months Im not hunting too much (summer) I feed purina dog chow. When they start to get to hunting a lot I switch to purina hi pro 27%protein 15% fat. Plus that pro club thing is awesome, Im invested enough now to start seeing some good rewards.
Ryan
You can't go wrong with the Purina Pro Plan, we feed the Purina One, its almost identical but a couple bucks cheaper, and the Pro club really helps out when you get 6 bags at a time

question
how do u use the purina weight circles
hope u find hi pro they told me that they no longer make it and to try puppy chow . that sucks i think it was a very good food and they just quit makeing it , let us know if they start makeing it again
cut them out and save alot and join the pro club then send them it , i think it takes 7000 points to start getting ur checks , 8 points per pound , it takes awhile but its worth it
feed
we feed dimand high energy during hunting seasons in the summer and dimand maintance along with a serious helping of meet in the winter time even though were running yotes with half of them.

hi pro
I can still get hi pro at petsmart over here in NM. But maybe were just the last to start seeing it disappear? I hope not, it kept the weight on my dogs much better but the puppy chow is pretty close. Also, since eggs are cheap, I usually feed em a raw egg every day or every other day. And on the pro plan, I end up with about 9000 points a year if they gives you a better idea.
Ryan
brent, I feed and sell diamond hi energy 24/20. dogs do great on it. was feeding purunia then started in the diamond and my feed amount went down 1/3. not to mention the cost is less than purina. I also sell pride but not to impressed with it. does not feed as far. i am just in Franklin nc
