I do the same thing but also fill the rest of the syringe with stale Mt dew (fizzles to much on fresh - don't finish the can the day before I treat) or I use some kind of juice if I have on hand.

I use Ivormectin but I inject it cause I have always been told that it will burn up a dogs vocal cords
