Dog loseing voice ( What can I do? )

While I was gone across the pond. One of my males barked so much now he has almost lost his voice. I have a shock collar on him now will his voice come back? Is there anything I can do? He isnt loud enough now to hunt.

it depends on whether any scar tissue has built up on his laranyx, if it has it wont improve much, but if it is simply irritation/swelling get some prednazone from your local vet, its an antiinflammatory steriod...good luck...

Thanks, Everybody My male is adjusting to the thought of better living thru electricity. I am hoping a couple weeks no barking he will get some improvement.
My female has been back from the vet 3 days now doing good from her surgery. Hoping not to have another large vet bill.

hey patrick, i was talking to a guy up in Rose hill that said his dog lost his voice like that and one of the old timers told him to drip some pine rosin in their water, he said he did and that it worked.
so if you want to try it i reckon you need to look for some lighter knots and heat em up and let em drip in a water bowl.

hey patrick, pm me your cell #, we'll go turn out if you want to. i am heading to clinton this afternoon but i aint hunting tonight, ive got a butt kicking head cold and i am just going to bench one dog and tuck tail and head back down here.
