Missouri Houndsmen

Thanks to all who came to support the MO Sporting dog assc. yesterday. Our swap turned out okay and we had a descent turn out for the annual meeting. It was disappointing to see the lack of hunters from west central Missouri, coonhunters, and beaglers. There was several that came to the swap, but left before the meeting. Why, I don't know. Although there were a few coonhunters, beaglers, and hog hunters, the majority of people who attended the meeting were coyote hunters. I own coyote hounds, beagles, and a tree dog, so I am not picking on any one group. The HOUNDSMEN of Missouri need to step it up and become a member. There are only around 570 members. Everyone of us need to become members and we should make sure all our hunting buddies become members also. For more information or a membership application go to mosportingdog.com.
