Dog Kennels And Dog Feet, I have a question, can you help

The Scotts above ground kennels, will this make a dog flat foot, or is flat foot genetics. IF the dog shows being flat foot in above ground kennels, will it help its feet to be placed in the concrete kennels. The pup is going on 5 months old and I like the fact that the poop passes through the scotts kennels where he does not do what normal pups do and walk around in it on a regular concrete kennel. Thanks

Have raised hounds on concrete, dirt, gravel and wire, my experience has been either they are tight on their feet or they arent, simply.......genetics.

kennels

in my experience, i have only had medioker [sp] footed dogs and yes it does make a differance. a solid ground and proper nail trims can help to strengthen a soso footed dog and keep it from getting worse. Genetics does play a role too. Sandi

feet

always think natural . the best to keep them on is a good solid ground that dont get muddy ,, and think about what concrete does to your feet. its hard on there feet and joints. thats just my opion. but ive had dogs that came off concrete and they were flat footed. i keep mine on solid dirt and rubber mats..

i am just a old hillbilly from wv i keep my begales up on wire but have a pice of mining belt for them to walk on makes it easier to clean keep my hounds on the ground and have two runs built on wood covered with mining belt the belting just makes it easier to clean i wash my runs out weekly till it gets to cold i use crolene to get rid of any germs what not

i think it does and it dosent ive heard if a pup is on concrete or a wooden plat form and the food has to do alot with it and exercise and genetics and how well they are main tained like deworming and nutrition ive seen pups with rikets comeing on but not full blone and a buddy gave some cod liver oil in the jug or the pills work also to the pup for like a months staight and every day of that month(it may make them have the poops but it helps alot just dont give to much to them) but he came out of it like he never had it but i was just trying to help dont no if it did or not

Thanks for the responses. I believe it is genetics myself.
