Prayers for my MOM

I am asking that my fellow friends and coonhunters remember my mom in prayer. We are in Raleigh NC at the Duke Hospital my mom is fixing to go under for a major back operation and this is the last hope they have done everything they know to do but this and my mom did not want to have surgery but she has no choice . She can hardly walk so the doctors told her this was the last thing that could be done. They are putting 2 fusions on her vertabrae and rods on L4 and L5 and the surgery is going to take about 4 hrs, our family and church members lifted her up in prayer Sunday at church but you can never have enough prayer so I am asking for my fellow coon hunting friends for your prayers as well.

Her name is Michelle Frizzell

Thank you
kenan

ps. my dad is telling me exactly what they are doing and they are doing L4L5 revsion laminectomy with L4-S1 Iium instrumentation and fusion

Prayers go up for your Mom for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery.

From experience, if it is successful, it will give her her life back. Sam is one of the success stories. I hope your mom will be too.

We will be Praying!

We will send many prayers for your mom. I will be thinking of her as I spend 2 hrs a day with PT and exercise trying to get some strength back in my lumbar spine and hips!
I have 2 VERY close friends who have had back surgeries. One has had a couple... but that is because she BROKE one of the titanium screws holding some rods in place! She is a real serious horse back rider... LOTS of wear and tear. I rememeber seeing the relieve she got from her surgery... it was like real magic. Her back, like mine had been bad since she was a teen.
Lots of prayers that your mother feel relief VERY quickly and that the healing process is speedy...

Know we are all with you in prayer,

Heather and Bob

Still Praying!

Glad the surgery went well. Will still send prayers for her recovery! Funny thing was EVERYONE at PT today was there with BACK issues! I was the ONLY one who wasn't getting a massage though... I was JEALOUS!
Your mom will have a long road ahead getting strong and pain free...but it should REALLY help.
take care, Heather

THANKS

THANKS TO EVERYONE

We are up here now and my mom is doing so well they are letting her come home TODAY There have been alot of prayers going up for her and I thank all of you , even her doctor Dr. Hay he is a christian before he did the surgery he came in the room with us and we had a prayer. He did not ask no one to pray he did the praying and then when he got in the OR he held a prayer with my mom and his nurses and again he did the praying . My grandma and family was saying you dont see that very often in hospitals and Dr Hay said he was just the surgeon but God was the one in control and in his prayer he asked god to take him by his hands and guide him with every step of the way. Mom is doing great she looks good and she is just having some pain , She is a little worried about our 2 1/2hr ride home but Dr. Hay said he would give her a shot of morphin to get her home without pain

Thank You
kenan

I'm so glad your Mom's surgery went well.
I'll continue to pray for her full and speedy recovery.
So awesome about the doctor. A heart surgeon my Dad had prayed over him, too. He prayed that God would guide his hands. Really made my Dad feel safer... and he was! So glad your Mom was blessed with another doctor who believes this way.

Hope and pray this will all mean your Mom will soon be able to get around easier.
