New Club Northeast Arkansas

Jake and Amy Moore of Paragould, AR are in the process of setting up a new UKC Beagle Club in NE Arkansas. I think they need a little encouragement. So if any of you might be interested in running trials and bench shows, let Jake and Amy know. A little support during this early perriod could make a big difference in getting the club going on a solid foundation. One thing though, we got them big old swamp rabbits down here, so hope you don't mind running some of these big boys. David Tipton, Mike Ridenhour, Mike Griffy, Jeffery Roberts, Calvin Mings and several others have made special trips down here to hunt swampers with us. So we figure if folks are willing to come gun hunt them, then maybe we could get some good trials, shows and fellowship going. I bet some of you have never run a swamp rabbit. Well here is your chance to put on your rubber boots and watch your hounds take to water. We got alot of cottontails, but the swampers are a joy to run. They make huge circles like deer.. Anyway, if you are remotely interested in running in some UKC Trials with us in Northeast Arkansas, give this thread a reply. I think it will help build moral support in starting up the new club.

Yeah pop running those swamp rabbits is the real deal! I have came down and ran dogs with you all several time last year also! Boy I tell you man it gets in your blood! LOL Its like a bad sickness hearing those dogs line out a big ol swamp rabbit! I hope Jake and Amy can get that new club lined out down there! Its a lot of work but its well worth it! Its makes it kinda nice to be able to run dogs in your home town and not have to travel hours to trial. Plus getting people to come and enjoy running those big ol swamp rabbits it what makes it even better!! So You Guys Got Our Vote Here in the big town Myrtle, MO and home of Run More Kennels!!
