My Hunt Tonight 10/10/09
Well me and my little hunting buddy from up the road went out for one drop since when I went to pick him up he had a dang gone deer hanging up in a tree getting ready to skin it out. But he grabbed his light and came a running with his young English Female Kate. I had Zero and we headed on out. I just got me one of those new Garmin two dog tracking systems and was ready to test it out. So me and Jesse tore out. We went to one of my favorite spots and I told Jesse if we do good here son this will be it because you don't need that deer meat going bad. Your Paw will tear you a new one if he comes in and you gone and that deer hanging up in the front yard half skinned out. LOL!!! We we turned Zero & Kate out in the creek bottom and Zero hit the creek a running. I was watching TV or the Garmin as some call it. Well Zero had gotten to the bend in the creek which was 254yds. from me according to the Garmin, and there at the bend is a little branch that feeds into the creek there. He turned right there according to the TV screen. LOL!! Never opening a bit. I was thinking this is going to be one of those nights. But then he turned by the TV screen and was coming across the pasture. About half way across bam he struck I was like ok ole boy you better not be doing anything stupid but he proceeded to cross the road which was in seeing distance and soon as he hit the woods on the other side Bam slam Dunk in this big Ole Oak tree 75 yds from me according to the Garmin LOL!!. It was thick as owl snot around that thing so I told Jesse to go back to the road and I would line him up to the tree and if that coon was up there I would get him to look from the road. Sure enough as I hit that Ole Zepp bam both eyes. Petted Ole Zo up and went to the house. I think I am gonna love this TV I mean Garmin tracking system. Thanks to all that told me it was the real deal. My hunting friend Bryan Weston and Hobo on this here message board. Here a a few pics from tonight. Take care and God Bless you All!!!!!!!
