Grand American in Orangeburg, SC

What dates is it being held next year? I dont know if it is a UKC hunt or not, but I plan on buying a Mal and female dog there to get back into coonhunting.. I havent did it in about 10 years thought I would get back into it and show my kids what hunting with dogs is like!!!

You can find any kind of dog a man could be looking for there. LOL
Most of the stud dogs will be there, and alot of other dogs as well. Its usualy packed with people and dogs, so go early and have a good time.

it is an UKC licensed hunt. nice people, lots of vendors, fairly large bench show, and all that around a nite hunt. if you want it, you can probably find it there. might even find a few things that you don't want.

heard it was a great place going for the first time this year getting a new pup there.cant wait till then almost like xmas time for a young man.how is the hunting there a lot of coon any snakes bought a couple years ago snake proof chaps haven't used them yet.

The Grand American is my all-time favorite coonhound event. The club we run our deer dogs at is about 25 minutes from the fairgrounds, and I can tell you this...there ARE snakes down there, but usually it's too cold to see them that time of year. Plenty of vendors though, you can buy just about anything you need for your dogs and hunting...and plenty of stuff you DON'T really need to haha! I always ask for money for Christmas from everyone so I can shop there....
