Based on the lack of results from anything I am starting do doubt whether there was actually a state hunt or whether it is just a myth like bigfoot.

A guy told me monday that a guy from Brooksville Ky won the hunt with a English dawg.I can't reminder his name but don't hold me to this it is just hear say.

Chris Jolly and Brad Stout won Gr.Nt.CH's Friday With Ice Man and Gerald Mullins won Gr.NT.Ch's Saturday night With Foggy Mountain Bo. Thats all I know but the results will be in a couple days. IF I can get them I will post them for you guys and gals. I did here that Freddy Fender won the whole thing too.

Excuse me, I have to step in here. David Canter doesn't have the report. I do. It was passed over to me the morning following the hunt as I always send it in and write the check for fees.

When Wayne Caudill was alive, we handled the state hunt the same way. We took the report home, wrote the check for fees and sent it in within a few days. Now, that he's not around, it falls to me. You will have to be patient with me. I have always been the one to post results and scores and I just haven't gotten to it yet. I didn't arrive back to my house in London until 8:00 PM Sunday night. I had to travel to my parents to pick up my kids and be there for my Dad's birthday and that was a 4 hour drive out of my way. Since then I have been working every day.

I don't even as of yet have the trailer unloaded that has the speakers, extra trophies, hunt supplies, dog benches, and such on it.

I belive the Kentucky State Nite Hunt Champion is the Freddy Fender dog with Bo Moore. The Kentucky State Bench Show Champion is Kentucky River Lit Bit Fancy owned by Lee Currens and handled by Lisa Hunziker.

Yes, the winners do deserve their recognition. I will do my best to post all results to as quick as I can. But to type results and post pictures takes me about 3-4 hours of non-stop time in front of the computer. When I posted the kids state hunt results a couple weeks ago, I stayed up til 1:30 AM in the morning and that was just with 1 show and 1 hunt. The state hunt will take twice the time as we have twice the winners at least. This association isn't my only reponsibility. My kids and my job have to come first this week.

By the way, I fully recognize that this job is getting too much for me. I suggest those of you that have the time out there to work at these events on behalf of the Kentucky Houndsmen Association, Inc. show up at the next annual meeting in February or March 2010 and get yourself elected. We need new people with new ideas and energy to step on board and help carry this association into the next decade. I'm tired.

penny i comend you on the job that you do i did not post this thread to get every one in an uproar...you do a great job and for those that are not in her shoes dont say anything negative...this thread was suppose to be something positive and now im sorry i posted it.

I will post them for the folks that won. I'm leaving out thursday evening but will do it if you send me the results. It is a lot of hard work and dedication but somebody needs to get it on here. I know how it is sometimes because its hard to stop your everyday job and especially raising kids. I work third so send them as soon as you can. Tim Bolden
