Breeding question

Why dont you breed to a dog that wont hunt but is a great all around dog as well as a show dog? if she didnt turn out who's to say her pups wont? just stumped on this topic

the mother to my harryII dog has never been in to woods or even seen a coon breed her one time she had 6 pups 2 were nitch by 17months old and all the pups made good dogs and all pups have wins in ukc and pkc
