You will be amazed that such a small light can perform like it does.
I have one that look exactly the same but mine valley creek
super light weight,, I thought they shipped me a empty box
brightness is ok its not like a 20 volt spot light with the leaves off this winter it will be plenty. Its pretty bright for a small light weight package. My 9 year old uses it mostly I have a few times, I cant tell i have the battery on my belt.
added: ps that flip up hidged red lens is junk

anything else on this light? Has anyone had one for an extended period of time? You can only buy it with 1 years warranty, anyone had one longer than this?

LED and Xenon lights make eyes glow 10-1 over regular bulbs ... I have an LED that is inbtween the cheap kind and the coonhunting ones ... it has variable brightness and beam , but still uses AAA batteries .. about as bright as the old wheat lights ...
... they are awesome when varmints are looking and will not cause them to look away ... but on nights when the coon won't look or in real tall timber that 10-1 advantage gets flip flopped .
.. It's just a matter of taste .. being the leaves are coming off , head to Wal-Mart and for $20 you can get a 3 watt LED headlight to try out for the winter.
quote:I have a 4 watt LED light I really like, but it isnt quite bright enough to hit the top of those big trees...I figure a six ought to be good enough, and I like having the dim walk light, less bugs in the summertime buzzin my face...and you cant beat the burn time on those lights....
