What can I expect the first time!!!!!!

This is the first time that I have ever bred Peanut, what can I expect him to do the next couple of nights in the woods? Took him tonight and he acted like an idiot.

How long is this going to last? I took him with my female and all he did was run her around and smell her all night.

Never had that problem before. Maybe try hunting him alone for a couple of nights.

I accualy had the opposite problem for awhile. Couldnt hardly get Loose to notice a female was in heat.

To this day he will still leave one that is to go hunting, and will only breed one when they are hotter than a june bride.

I would suggest stomping his guts out anytime he even sniffs another dog in the woods. He'll get the idea that stuff is better left at home.

I know a couple guys that only allow it in 1 spot, say his kennel or the garage..ect.

LOL, see if you can barrow Duel Grand Ruby from Chris Gerth. She has taken the casinova, and just plain cockyness, out of many many male dogs.

I bred my 3 year old male last friday and went to a nite hunt that night. drew two other males and a female. had a great hunt. right down to the wire.....blue dog ended up winning the cast but my male carried on as usual....didn't mess with any other dogs....not even the female...

some dogs it will effect, and some it wont...I have just layed them up for a couple weeks when they acted brain dead, if I had had a female that would put them in their place, I would have tried that...there is a fellow that lives close by, that has a semen collectin/storage company, for any future breeding, I am gonna have it done AI, he will pull from the male and inseminate the female for 50$...

Even a female in heat in the yard will drive most males crazy for a little while. Seen it time and time again where someone comes to a hunt with their male, females home in heat, and hes got one thing on his mind and it ain't hunting.
To the odd male it wouldn't even make any difference if he was hunting with a female in heat when hes cut loose hes got one thing on his mind, GO HUNTING, i've only seen on yet out of all the ones i've hunted with and owned.

ive heard of some dogs completely losing there mind and all they wanted to do was try to breed everything but that was very rare occassions!

The next time you breed a female to him put him with the female for the whole heat cycle , she will teach him when to be breeding and when to leave her alone . This also works in the human race if you have been married for any length of time !!
