According to that I still have about 4 weeks. I don't think it will be that long myself. It's around 40 this moring and the leaves are already falling off pretty quick.

I love the wintertime for hunting though. It always feels a little better to put one up with snow or frost on the ground. Just about anydog can tree a coon in the summer but it takes a coondog to get it done when the ground is froze on these mountains.

i have heard that its harder for a dog to trail in these conditions. but this seems to be the tiem when my dog excells and looks at her best

Weather reports call for frost in and around the Twin Cities metro and further outstate. This years frost is later than average. Time to pay the piper is guess.
