Inducing Heat?

Is there anything yall believe in that helps a bitch come into heat? I've heard putting them with a pup or another bitch that's in heat...any ideas?

putting them with another female that is in usally helps

Raspberry extract works also. My vet gave me pills for a female that was overdue, and five days later she was bred.
