Bobcat northern Wisconsin

Drew a tag for a bobcat this fall. Just looking to see if anybody in nothern WI would let a couple of guys tag along? Have coon hunted a fair amount. Never hunted Bobcats before. Thanks Terry

terry, you just put that tag in your pocket..and come up to the badlands and you can shoot all the cats you want..just not while the wife is home!!!LOL

is there any other states that have plenty of bobcats that its easier for a non-resident to get a tag and hunt.. like MO. or Ia or MN

I think you may be able to buy a tag over the counter here in MI. I know a resident can buy one for 15 dollars and we have a good number of cats in the UP and in the northern lower.

MI. will not sell a bobcat tag to WI. residents because WI. does not sell trapping licenses to non residents.

So if you are from MI. you can apply for a WI. bobcat tag and hunt them with a small game license in WI. when you draw a tag, but a WI. resident is not allowed to hunt bobcat in MI.

Dan dogs took 5 years to get this tag. Might take you up on the offer of a cat hunt on badlands rd. Think we could use Reuters cur to tree them first.

Cat Tags...

MN. tag for non-residents is around $270 but you get to take 5 cats per year. Wi. is 4-6 years to pull a tag for one cat. CO. is unlimited take and non-resident tags are reasonable. The same goes fro Nebraska and the hunting is mostly flatland and drainages...easier than a lot of other areas. Don't know about MO. or the Dakotas. MN. is the best bet but you still have to find them and the good areas to hunt them. I can't tell you that stuff.

Minnesota cat season opens Nov 28 - Jan 3 , 5 cats total , open above I - 94 and U S 10 only . Non resident small game license 84.50 plus non resident furbearer 160 , 244.50 total .

not to step on Tim's toes (fatboy77) but If you were looking for something a little bit further North, we would take you out.

We have had quite a few hit our bear baits this year. One or two well over 30. I'll fore warm you, hunting cats up here separates the men from the boys.
