One Thread for it all Two day event

Friday October the 23rd:
UKC Licensed Hunt Test - 6:30 p.m. ($8.00)

Saturday October 24th:
UKC Cur and Feist Squirrel Hunt - 7:00 a.m. ($15.00)
UKC Cur ans Feist Bench Contest - 1:00 p.m. ($5.00)
UKC Treeing Contest - 2:00 p.m. ($8.00)
UKC Coonhound Bench Show - 6:30 p.m. ($5.00)
UKC Cur and Feist Racoon Hunt - 8:00 p.m. ($15.00)
UKC Coonhound 2hr Nite Hunt - 8:00 p.m. ($15.00)

We will have Dinner on Friday, and Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner avaiable at the club on Saturday.

Room to camp, but no electric or water hook ups.

2 miles East of Arcadia on HWY 72 Right on D HWY 1/2 mile to clubhouse

16 miles West of Fredericktown on HWY 72 left on HWY D 1/2 mile to clubhouse.

Squirrels are thick around here. I killed nine last night while cutting a load of wood and wasn't even trying. I'd hate to see how many are in the places I'm going to guide the cast I'm taking to the woods.

I hope we have a good turn out for this event. The reason I say this is because this can and probabbly will lead to bigger things. If we do good with this one and maybe a couple more, the members of the club might be willing to let us have more Cur and Feist events, and maybe in other registries as well. From the event sechdules that I have seen for Cur hunts there needs to be more in this area.

This will be the last chance for a Squirrel Hunt at this club. They told us at the meeting sunday night, that if this hunt didn't go over well they would not have any more. They will not even consider a different Kennel association. Lets see a good turn out, and you'll see alot more of these hunts at this club.

good luck. we are in the same boat. a coonhunt club here is allowing us to have ukc sq and coonhunts for feists on a one year trial basis. if it goes good we stay in,if not they go back to business as usual. i wish you well.

Hope we have a good turn out this weekend. I know that there is an NKC hunt just up the road, but if we can get at least 10 or 12 dogs we'll keep having these hunts. We might not have a bunch of them, but three or four a year at least.
