that won a championship the same yr RUPP won it ?they gave
rupp a caddy & the football coach a zippo lighter.thought
i would ask i know you guys are a lot older than me and
heard these rumor a few weeks back.

Bear Bryant, that's one of the reasons he left UK. Most people don't even know that he once coached there.

I think he is talking about the incident that occured over the summer where a low level assistant ( Bilal Batley) walked through one of the practice gyms while some of the basketball players were playing pickup games. This occured during a dead period when coaches are not allowed to be in the gym when players are practicing or working out. It is a minor secondary violation and nothing will come of it. It was self reported by UK and the compliance department to the NCAA otherwise no one would have ever known it happened. The assistant( and it is really a stretch to call him an assistant, an assistant manager may be closer to the truth) has since left and taken a job elsewhere.

I Personally feel bad for Memphis, but you gotta do what you gotta do, and its not like Memphis and Kentucky are hated Rivals, plus Pastner seems to be doing just fine, O yea, Yall Stole him back, we thought he was in the Package Deal. Go Tigers!!!!
