longest wait on pups

what is the longest you ever had a female over due for pups mine is on her 66th day vet says give her a couple more days as long as she is not stressing he said they can go 68 days.ive had a couple guys say they have had females go 67 days.

Had a female go 72 days and we did a C section on her.

i had one go for 72 days also, she had 17 pups , non lived. i hope your luck is better than mine.

Had one go to 70 and deliver a nice healthy litter of 8. Had a Rott. go 72 days from her only breeding and had a nice litter of 9.

Take her temp., if it is 99.0 or below, you should have pups within 12 hrs. Keep us posted on her progress. Autumn's first litter went 2 days past 63 and her second litter went 4 days past 63, her last litter was a day early. No set pattern there, just a bit of info. All her pups were alive and well. She had huge pups, though, be prepared to pull the first one, we had to on each of her litters. This last litter, the first pup was stuck for 15 minutes, I thought it would be dead for sure, but Frank finally got a got hold on it and got it out and it hit the blanket bawling. We are keeping her, we named her Trouble for obvious reasons.

just because you breed a female doesnt mean she will take that day could take 3-5 days after breeding for that female to take, thats coming from my vet

update took her to the vet again today he took xrays she is carrying 2 or three pups it was hard to see.he said she was fine take her home and wait if she is not stressing.hopefrully we wont have to do a c section.today is day 68 if you count from day of tie.or 63 days if she didnt take till 5 days later keep your fingers crossed thanks ron
