Underground Yellow Jackets

Off topic, but I'm sure there are plenty of us that have gotten torn up by yellow jackets coming from underground nests.......

I was pulling some T-Posts back in the woods over the weekend, and got light-up by a mess of yellow jackets......My question is, if I was wearing a heavy duty PVC rain suit, could they still sting through the pvc ??
I have thick gloves and even a bee-keeper style hood....It's the rest of me I'm worried about....
Of course I dropped a pile of posts I pulled as I was getting swarmed on...so I gotta go back and get-em.....and finsh the job......not looking forward to that...especially since I don't know precisely where the nest is, just the general vicinity..
I appreciate anyone's input.

gasoline will kill them as fast as any spray....just straight gas, thrown or poured on them

I'm good with the gas concept, thanks....

I'm really wondering if the PVC suit will protect me from the stinger(s).....

I think your PVC would work but for sure duct tape the wrists and ankles and if the waist is open then there also. Get one or more into your britches and you got problems.

Wear a pair of jeans and overalls over them, tuck jeans in boots, wear 2-3 long sleeve shirts, tape wrists with masking/duct tape over gloves, with your bee hood, you should be fine, they cant get through those layers of clothes....
