how many of you have been slapped or bitten by a bear while the dogs are running it have some pics if they can be put on here

if i would have had time would have poked him but happened pretty fast did get a punch in on his nose is what saved me alot more stitches or worse

thanks for puttin pic on for me bearhunter...........heather thought was the end of me to lol

i have some pics ill have to try and find them..1 was from a guy in hyde co. NC guy got 237 stiches and the other was here in Barco NC another guy got 38 staples...

I,VE had a few close calls been lucky so far ,got between a sow with cubs last nite while coonhunting dang trashy coondogs.she ran the cubs up and was taking the hounds in a circle around were the cubs were

Never have been caught seen a few times I thought I was caught their has been a few guys around here who has been caught but nothing bad had one a few weeks ago bail out on us now it missed a dang good chance but passed us up covered with dogs gotta love these poodles

Just all 'round , meat gettin' hounds.

I had a hunter miss hit a problem bear for the state twice one evening a couple years back that tried to back jump me. The young boar was down, facing away, and I turned my eyes below the ledges where a couple of my dogs were and then looked back. I hadn't had my eyes off that bear but a few seconds and he was in the air headed for my throat. I was able to sidestep that charge and catch him under the jaw with a high block or I'd been on my back. The bear did roll his head and was able to sink his right upper and lower canines into my left upper arm, which resulted in fourteen or fifteen staples............

had sent them to bearhunter guess to nasty to put on here but just glad am healing up good it makes you a lil shy when you get in close to them the next time
