knee, hip boots, waders

when i walk hunt my dogs i wear knee boots. many times the dogs will tree in deeper water. what to do? i don't want to walk for miles in hip boots or waders. walking that much in knee boots is bad enough. what do you do? i wish i could roll up a pair of waders and put them in my backpack and take them with me. but they would sure be a load. i was out a few nights ago in deep water. of course i got the boots full of muck and water. i don't like walking to the truck with soggy feet. is there someway around this situation and still coon hunt?.

Yeah wear your hip waders, and roll them down over your boots and snap them in place. That's what the button's on the side of the boots and chaps is for. Then when you need them just unsnap'em and pull them up and you are ready to go without getting you feet wet.
