question

If you have a large tract of land how many coonhunters should you allow to hunt on that land? i.e. 4000+ hunt club.

I hunt a 10,000 acre tract and three groups usually get within hearing distance at some pont during the night.

I was told that four coonhunter within a 4000+ tract is too much. Even though you know there is more than 4 coonhunters as members.

Well, what's the minimum size one group can hunt? It's hard where I am new to an area to find 4000 acres. Goodness.

Funny thing is we were told by several others that they had joined this very piece of property to coon hunt and that makes it over four members coon hunting. So we were told a story by this fellow. It is a shame because it is about the dogs not the people. It is amazing how destructive jealousy can be for some people.

Thanks for your help
Cindy
