help please
We were hunting last saturday night. the dogs got struck and treed deep. it took us an hour and 15 min. to get to them. about half way there, there was a gun shot sounded like a 12guage maybe maybe not but its was a bigger type gun. the dogs hushed for about 5 minn and then started treeing again but sounded like they had moved a little when we got there my female wasn't at the tree but about 50yards or so away. ever since then she won't stay hooked. I never had this problem before until now she is (or was) a hard chop mouth stay put tree dog. and she has never been gunshy and i can't find anywhere she was hit either. she will tree now but for only a couple of min. What do I do for this. Thanks for reading
give her some luvin at the tree. pet her up good, and let her know she's not going to be harmed there. she should come back around

Walk in her to a couple of trees and let her know that things are alright...praise and maybe a "reward".....

Shoot a rifle every day just before you feed her. Start with a 22 from a good distance away and every day get a little closer to her. Pretty soon she will accociate the sound with a reward. I have used this several times and it works.
