WEST VIRGINIA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP - AUGUST 14TH / 15TH - Directions to Hunt

Exit 34 of I-79.

Off interstate, take right on Rt. 36 (regardless if you are coming from the north or south) go approximately 6 miles until you come to a Y intersection bare to the left and make a left on Rt. 4 and go approximately .6 mile. Make a left hand turn onto Maysel – Laurel Road (CR 7). Take CR 7 for approximately 2 miles. Turn right onto Upper Two-Run Rd. (CR 13/4). Follow CR 13/4 for approximately .5 mile. Fairgrounds are on your left. Signs will be posted!

Summersville - State Hunt

From Old Rt. 19 turn onto Peach Orchard Road, travel approximately 20 miles until you cross the Elk River, turn right at the end or the bridge, follow Rt. 16 approximately 1 mile, bare to the left at Go-Mart, follow Rt. 4 for approximately 2 miles, turn right on Maysel - Laurel Road (CR 7). Take CR 7 for approximately 2 miles. Turn right onto Upper Two-Run Rd. (CR 13/4). Follow CR 13/4 for approximately .5 mile. Fairgrounds are on your left. Signs will be posted!

Hope these directions help everyone to find the hunt location, I personally am working very had to have plenty of signs post from I-79 and from Clay to the hunt location, those that have GPS systems use Exit 34 off I79 and then follow above directions or simply follow posted signs. Thanks to everyone that has aquired about the State Hunt and I hope to see everyone there!

I was wondering if there is a place for me to park my camper and hook up to 110v power? It is a 40' fifth wheel toy hauler. I plan on arriving mid day friday. Thanks

Those that are interested in camping there is ample room, but electirc hook-ups are limited.....I am not sure exactly how many hookups there are but I know there are some....they will be on a first come first serve basis....You can get on the grounds as early as you want on Friday....there are showers in the restrooms.....there will be food served all weekend......and lots of things going on so please come and make a weekend out of it.....those that are camping I cannot quarentee electic hook-ups but I will do everything I can to accomidate as many campers that need an electric hook-up. Thanks in advance for everyones understanding!

I would like to see one, I have heard about it and would like to see it in action.....have you field tested them? If so how were the results....if not give me one and I will put it to the test.....I only hunt 5-6 nights a week......see you this weekend and the Predator light is a very interesting idea!

I will tell you all about it this weekend. Look me up sometime. I will have it with me when walking around so that people can check it out. Are you hunting this weekend?

It has been put through the ringers while field testing. The results have been excellent and better than I coud have expected. See ya soon.
