Ever have this happen to you? (PIC)

a friend of mine is over run w/coon and is not able to allow hunters in due to neighbors.... well she sets this trap in her horse's pasture after her barn has been terrorized for nights and cat food emptied and this is what she has...

the first 2 shot out so quick, I missed there pic! wow are they fast! And we wonder why dogs have a hard time with tracks this time of year.lol

my thoughts EXACTLY. Down here in north georgia we will trade you 10,000 possums, 5,000 armadillos and 5,000 foxes for some COON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

COOL!

We had a litter of four here last yr that grew up(in front of a gamecam) in our hayloft! 3 of them come back this yr to eat still this yr. Momma didn't bring back babies this year
We can't relocate in MA... if they kill our chickens-which becomes a HABIT... we have to shoot them which stinks when an area has so few... if we give them EASY food up with the feral cats in the loft they leave the chickens alone. I like the areas that allow the relocation that help hunters out and keep a pop. going.... We don't have any coonhunting areas around here anyway.... so a bigger population isn't so good around here...

Glad you were able to get those 4 and hope you get more. Hope they give you some good runs with the dawgs!

Have fun, HappyHunting Heather

...

I was shocked to have the whole litter! Talk about follow the leader lol. (If kids would only stay that close).
I have gotten @ 75 coon from this lady over the past few years. Sad part is she sets the trap and usually that night she has one. She lives inbetween a man that refuses any and all hunters rights and an elk farm that I would not dare to cut near! I re home 9?% of all the coon brought to me so we have places to hunt young dogs that we know have coon. I would be happy to send a few that are that deprived.... buy honestly you all can keep them grinners and fox! Fox are starting to pop up more in this area too. Hmmm.

Wow! Can't beat that! We have a couple people that call us or just drop coon off. One guy has caught 24 this year, another 26. That's just the ones that come in their yards after bird feeders.

My buddy caught 2 tom cats in a trap a few nights back. One was dead and the other was half dead. They must have had one hell of a battle...
