WV State Hunt Hotels?

Can anyone from the WV State Association or anyone that lives up that way tell me the closest place to look for hotels? I checked Clay and no hotels came up and it said the closest ones were in Summersville (that when I mapquested between the 2 places said it was an hour away). Just wondering if there was anything closer...

you might find some "hole in the wall" place closer.But you'd have to look once ya got there,dont forsee places like that running ads.

We will be staying in Summersville as it is showing on the map to be about 14 miles from Clay. It looks as though you will have to take some back roads to get to Clay. See you guys there.

I will find u one. The food around there might not be as good as the amish place we ate at though curt sure knows how to pick them.

....these two towns are infamous.............watch out particularly around the big hill up from the Dairy Queen...........

Let me know what you come up with Nick... Curt is a restaurant connoisseur...even though we sometimes end up in chicken houses with plastic over the windows, lol!!!! As long as there is some sweet tea around there I will be fine!

The above post is correct about that! If the speed limit is 35, go 35!! They'll stick you with a ticket faster than you can blink!

when you go into summersville... let me warn you... there are smokeys everywhere!!! my brother used to live there and so did a lot of my buddies... watch out in summersville!!!!!! contact hilltop... he can tell u about hotels... being it is his club and all.

at one time summersville gave out more tickets than anywhere in the US in a years time.....
