Question about Championships

Russell once a dog reaches any type of championship status. Does a person have to get updated papers showing this or are the provided by UKC and if so how do I do that?

Thanks,

Darren

updated papers

Darren,

The UKC will send you an update easy entry card. If you want papers with the new title you will have to apply and pay for them. This is all included with a certificate of the new title. Which is nice to have and a note offering new three generation pedigree.

Championship papers

Also, Darren since you will be keeping track of how many points your dog has the minute your dog has enough points for a level you can start showing the dog in the next level without the papers from UKC.

I hope this is useful information for you.

Hey there, Thanks for the info. I got some new pics of Hank and Dot and will send them you sometime today. Got to get a new cord for the camera so I can download them. The girls are going to put them both on the bench at BBOA TN State Championship. It is at our club the week they are 6 months.

We would love to see new pictures. Jamie text pic pictures of "pepper" a couple of weeks ago. She is beautiful and huge. I am glad the girls are getting into the showing. It will be great fun for them. And also a way for you to keep the girls close to you. Good luck and send pics when you can.

Hey Darren,

Brooke wants to know what did you name the pups? (Hank & Dot) You keep calling them that we were just wondering. Brooke also wants to go to that show and I told her it is possible. So maybe we will see you and bring Mama dog to put in the hunt.

Once the dog earns a title and we send you the new EE card and Championship Certificate, we'll allow you to send in for new papers at that time for half price.

Russell, is the new EE card with Champion on it only for the coonhounds? As I show conformation and have finished three dogs so far I still have not recieved any new EE cards. Was just wondering. Thank you.

This is for any breed of dog. If you have a dog that made Champion and you did not receive a new EE card, you should contact our Dog Events Department and they can assist you in getting everything resolved.

However, our Dog Events Department will be closed till next Tuesday due to the fact they are all at our Premier show which is going on this week here in Kalamazoo.
