What Is the little black dot on envelope on the message board , on the left hand side of the post.

It isn't your computer, it is a function that is built into this message forum. It shows you when you have either posted in a certain topic, or subscribed to a certain topic. It is there to help you keep track of where you have posted so you don't have to remember every single topic where you have posted. Just find the black dots and see if anyone has responded to what you wrote.

But If you respond to my post, It don't show up or move the post to the top. I have to go back to the top of the page and click on subscribe then It will move to top.

Anytime a post is responded to by anyone it goes to the top of whatever forum you are under. If it isn't doing that for you after someone responds not sure what that could be. But after other people post in other topics it moves further down the list until that topic gets posted in again.
