Youth hunt?

My little brother is hunting a dog at a youth hunt this saturday. Everything just like a normal night hunt. Reg.....nite ch.....gr nt ch...they still split up like normal. How does the dog qualify for youth nationals then, cast win, hunt place?

No all dogs are put in a hat and drawn out into cast. All reg nite ch and gr nite ch are not split up.

And I am not sure how they qual for the nationals I will have to read in the reg books bout that.

All Dog draw together but don't let that bother you, all my youg dogs have hunted against GR.NT. when they were young and did just fine. you need to win your cast with + points and be in the top ten. GOOD LUCK

you have the divisions split of the age but the dogs are not separated. you qualify for nationals by winning 1-10th at a youth hunt.
