New kennels (pics)

Just a couple pics of the new kennels I built. Not finished yet. Still need to run electric, steps, doors, etc. But I like the wood so far.

I had the Exact comment myself! Brought back a FUNNY wave of memory for me... I'm brain injured so my memory is spotty... but as an 18 yr old young woman in college I LOVED to box for exercise with my roommate.. fun stuff!

It came out very nice and the hound looks very happy in there.... hope you have many years with many hounds in that nice kennel set up!

Those are really nice! I believe I'm going to bookmark this thread so I can show my fiance' what kind of kennels I want him to build me with the money we're "supposed" to be saving by remodeling an old house instead of buying a new one. Right now two of my blueticks live in a kennel on the wraparound porch of that house, and I think they're going to be pretty upset to lose their kennel that stays shady all the time and never gets muddy!

You do notice the gloves were in the doghouse. Thats usually were ya sleep after you lose.

Carlton, No not messing with the terriers anymore. Trying to devote all available time to the hounds. Sold the best terrier I ever owned not long ago to by a new shock system. LOL

The boxing gloves are for settling disputes between these two. Dempsey and Corbett--ages 7 and 6-- I was a boxer before I was a coonhunter...

Here is a side-view of mine.This is somethin' I've dreamed of havin' all my life.I'm 52 yrs. old now.I probably ain't got too many more years to enjoy it.LOL!I hope you enjoy yours as much as I'm enjoyin' mine.
