Registering Fiest

I am confused.

I have a fiest pup and was told the only way to register her is to have her tree. I was told that a judge or some other person with UKC would have to watch her hunt and tree in order to register her. Is this true. That shouldn't be a problem and I kinda wish ever hunting dog breed was done like that. lol
