Garmin topo

I have a question about the topo maps on the astro. I have the Delorme topo cd's,and would like to know if I can install the states that I need on a SD card on run that on my astro or is it a special topo map for the garmin. if I can do I need to install the software cd also. Thanks any help.

Not 100% sure, but I think it only accepts maps that Garmin puts out.
