Congrats Lanter and York families! ITS A GIRL

It is with great honor that I want to congratulate two coonhound families on the birth of their first daughter / granddaughter.



At 4:30 pm today May 13, 2009 baby Leah Elaine York was brought into the world at Ball Memorial Hospital. She weighs 6 lb 10 oz and is 20" long.

Proud parents Danelle Lanter and Monty York are doing great! Grandparents Reagan and Jolene Lanter along with Skip and Mary York and Aunts Sue and Helen .... are already spoiling her!

But they better watch out... because Aunt TT and her have dog shows to attend!!!!!

Visit

I just came from a visit with the family. Mother and daughter doing well. Though baby Leah still in the NICU at least until in the morning. Normal C-Section precautions.

She's doomed to be in the dogs!!!! And as for Autumn Oaks... most of you might know Grandpa Reagan as one of the members of the Wayne Co Coonhunters, and a big team player with the organization of the event. She will be on display - we figure in a golf cart with pink balloons and "ITS A GIRL" sign! ~ na grandpa's not proud!

Congrats!!!!She sho is a dandy!!!!Just remember these little ones are gifts from heaven to be cherished until there 18 yrs old...lol

Update

Everyone is still doing great, however Leah will continue to be in NICU for another few days. She has a small infection and they are monitoring her white blood cells. Nothing serious they tell us.

So please keep the families in your prayers so this little one can come home very soon.
