Some of the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stay put under all conditions and acurate. Not always a stand on the wood tree dog. But a steady stay put all night tree dog. That has been my experince.

thats the way im seeing it,i thank the guy i hunt with last
night told me his was great grand pup.i never hunt with
many english but i like what i seen.

First of all, I want everyone to know I like Al Gibson and consider him a good friend. And, I owned a littermate to Bean and still have some of the blood in my current dogs. I also hunted with Bean and Al one night at English Days when Eugene Boyd hunted Boyd's Little Bob on a warm up cast. Little Bob had the colder nose by far and treed the coon that night. Bean only got a little of the trees. My littermate to Bean was also hot nosed and almost silent. She, like Bean, only had a medium mouth for volume but would stay hooked every time, consistantly treed coon, and wasn't a bad dog. I was carrying my camcorder when hunting with Eugene and Al and I still have it all on tape. The best part of the recording was when we were waiting for the dogs to work out a cold track and Eugene told us about Little Joe. He didn't blow him up, he just told us how he was.
I sure hope I didn't offend any one and both Bean and Little Bob could have ate my dog feed anytime. They were the kind of dogs anyone would like.

Bean

I owned a daughter of Bean and a Oney bred female. Her name was Gr. Ch. Nt. Ch. Blackheart Gem, she was by far the best looking dog i have ever laid my eyes on, my opinion!! She was a trail'em up tree'em dog in Va.Moutains When I moved to Ga. she turned into a medium nosed TREE dog!! I might add Bean was a well built hound himself!! She was the best competition dog I have ever owned!!

our male dog goes back to Bean and jr. Bean was his grand dad. he is one of the best i have ever had. i got him from Blackhearted kennels.

Junior i hunt with a dog called Razor yrs ago 89-90 owened
by Charles Ivey that was a nice looking dog,im thinking
he was out of Bean.
