To me extreme independance is not a coon dog that I want to feed.

the references on the seller is just as important as on the dog

best way to answer alot of questions is to go hunting with the dog and the owner. not one time but several times. alone and with other dogs.

Alot of times we buy dogs off his word and end up angry. Been there and done that. But then you buy a dog that you dont pay much for and he are she turns into a champ. Was reading a post on the bluetick forum My 100.00 hound. He hit the lottery. That dont happen often. To me never.
