registration

Hello! I have a Jack Russell Terrier that is now 8 months old. I would like to show him and the only thing available in my area is UKC or AKC. I have called UKC and had one person tell me that UKCI is a registry recognized by UKC and then another tell me that it is not. My first question is, is UKCI recognized or not?

I have gathered my paper work and found that the third generation on the sires side on my pedigree is listed "another registry" and that the third generation on the dam's side is listed "foundation stock". Should I attempt to get names of the third generation dogs, will it make a difference?

Thanks for your time.

It is not but you may ask for special consideration. Send pictures, your letter stating your request for special consideration and any other information you think the Committee might find helpful.
