Lost Hunting Buddies!
I think all my coonhunting buddies have gotten lost! As we all started nearing our 40s and 50s they just dont seem to be around anywhere..Now that I am 50 and still hunting a pretty fair amount I wouldnt mind if some of you guys would keep your eyes out for some middle aged coonhunters that seem to have lost their way back to the truck or something. I still like to spend time in the woods by my self when I am breaking in a young dog, but do miss the company of my old friends! Ron Jackson
ron your located in lisbon arent you??????? i hunt black dogs and maybe i can hook up with you some weekend. its not just the 40 or 50 yr olds im 36 and spend most my nights alone too lol. but i mess with alot of young dogs so i have too.

Hi Jake, Yea I am in the Lisbon area. Would be happy to hunt with you some. Where are you located at? Not nearly as many hunters hunt for pleasure as did for the hides when I was a younger man.
im located in dennison ohio about 5 minutes from the tuscarawas coon hunters club. im just a pleasure hunter that goes to a hunt once in a while. i just enjoy starting young dogs.

Very seldom go to a hunt any more, nothing against it I just dont have the time it seems. I have had some very good black dogs but I hunt Bluticks now. Breaking a 12 month old male and female now out of Jet8 and my Lucy female. They both tree their own coon so now it is just putting them in the woods.. Also have a 2 year old out of Utchams Hornet that can do it right on a good night!
