Not looking to bad for 6 months old today
I hope you see this Jesse, Thanks for selling him to me. Is your female or Iron Will bawl mouthed like him.
btt
lookin real good! thats great! im realy glad you like him! his mama is a bawl mouth treedog! i almost didnt see it im outa town for work rite now! ive been mesing with my female some lately and im likeing her! keep me posted on him! i had hi hopes for your male!
is he getin out and huntin good yet?
He is getting bolder and more confident every trip. I've had him out with the other dogs 4 times at night. He does range out with them and has opened on track but likes the tree. What I usually do is take him alone about 1 hour before dark in a well populated den tree area. I let him run around and end up getting him back out about 1 hour after dark so he gets to run at night alone. He's getting out there about 100 yards and then wants to make sure I'm still there. You said his mother likes to drift a track. I try to hunt him into the wind. He hits the drift of hot coon scent comming off a den tree and works it back and forth ends up at the tree standing up on it checking it out, has opened doing that. I don't do drags or caged coon, just the real deal. He is showing good natural ability and I think by this fall he will show me how it's done alone. Since he will be old enough by then. Lol. He is doing great for his age.
thats great im really glad to hear it! put his mamas 4th win on her last night hunted in a hail storm and severe thunderstorms had 550 circle 175 plus and no minus it was VERY rough goin!
Congrats Jesse, it was the worst conditions I've ever hunted in...down pouring rain, thunder, lightning, and wind. Funny thing is, about 5 miles west of Wanamingo the roads were fairly dry on the way home.
Congrats on the win Jesse.
thanx guys! winding ability? in that storm max never opend on track every tree was a lay up! i love her winding ability! im glad to see her pups are showin them traits!

About 2 weeks ago I had him out and he put a 2 inch slit on his chest going through a barb wire fence. He's just about healed up. He was showing good progress. I may run him this weekend.

Congratulations on Finishing your female to Grand Nite Champion. Way to go Jesse, I am happy for ya.
thanx alan!!! we had an awsome hunt!!!!
Congratulations Jesse. Hopefully those females will follow in her foot steps.
Congrats
To you and Max on getting finished. We may get to hunt together at the BBOA Zone hunt. I finished Saddie last night and got qualified in Sigourney with 550+. We'll see you in a couple weeks in Preston. Would almost bet we have a split tree or two!!! Take care, Ron.
